The role of the roller is to support the conveyor belt and the weight of the material. The operation of the roller must be flexible and reliable. Reducing the friction between the conveyer belt and the roller is crucial to the life of the conveyor belt, which accounts for more than 25% of the total cost of the conveyor. Although the roller is a smaller part in the belt conveyor, the structure is not complicated, but it is not easy to make high quality rollers.
The criteria for judging the quality of the roller are as follows: the radial runout of the roller, the flexibility of the roller and the axial momentum.
The working principle of the Conveyor roller
Conveyor roller drives the idler tube body, the bearing seat and the bearing outer ring and the sealing ring to rotate through the friction force between the conveyor belt and the supporting roller, so as to realize the transportation of the logistics with the conveyor belt.

1. roller before use should be carefully checked whether the appearance of serious bump damage phenomenon, the rotating rollers should be flexible rotation, no jam.
2. the installation distance of the Conveyor roller should be determined by the scientific calculation of the type of logistics and the size of the conveyer, so as to avoid excessive or overtight installation.
3. the installation of the roller should be adapted to avoid each other grinding.
